Forbes magazine has named Niche co-owner and executive chef Adam Altnether one of the 30 honorees in the Food Drink category of its annual 30 Under 30 issue.
Forbes notes that the 27-year-old Altnether reached the position of chef de cuisine at Niche by the age of 22. He is now a partner with Gerard Craft in Craft Restaurant Group, which includes Brasserie by Niche, Pastaria and as well as the flagship Niche.
Assisting Forbes in choosing the honorees in its Food Drink category was a panel of three judges: restaurateur (and St. Louis native) Danny Meyer, acclaimed chef Alice Waters and food-festival organizer Lee Schrager.
Altnether wasn’t immediately available for comment. However, he did tweet his thanks to the staff of the four Craft restaurants, saying he “couldn’t do it without you guys.”
