Oakville’s Brady Moxham is getting settled in with the 16U Manitoba Prospects team.

After the club played tournaments in Winnipeg, Fargo, and Grand Forks, it is getting ready for the big one — the 2012 Prospects Series in Winnipeg from Aug. 31 to Sept. 3.

Moxham has enjoyed the experience of getting to know his fellow teammates, including Portage Terriers draft pick and Central Plains Capitals defenceman Chad Millar of Oak Bluff.

“It’s been great. The guys are great,” said Moxham. “We’ve really come along as a team, making some good plays out there.

“We’ve had some rough spots, but we’ve been able to work through them. We’re just having fun. It’s a great bunch of guys.”

The team’s travels have taken it all over, including to exhibition games in Portage, but Moxham said he’s most enjoyed being able to play under the lights at the home of the Winnipeg Goldeyes.
