Two longtime local darlings of the restaurant scene, Tony’s and Niche, have made OpenTable
‘s Diners’ Choice Awards for the Top 100 Best Restaurants in the United States.
The list of winners comes from more than 10 million reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for more than 12,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. OpenTable is an online restaurant reservation service.
Niche, owned by Chef Gerard Craft, also made OpenTable’s list last month of the top 100 Diner’s Choice awards for best American cuisine.
Craft was a semifinalist this year for a James Beard Award, dubbed the “Oscars of the food world.”
Also last month, Tony’s, which is owned by Vince Bommarito, was the only St. Louis-area restaurant to make the Forbes Travel Guide list, with a Four Star ranking.
And, all of that is delicious news.
